Product Description
Docol 420LA steel is a high-strength low-alloy steel, which can be supplied as hot-rolled steel and cold-rolled steel. It is supplied with S420MC based on EN 10149-2:2010 standard. The main alloying elements of HSLA steel include carbon, manganese, molybdenum, chromium and nickel. The nickel varies according to different HSLA steel grades. The proportion and ratio of these elements all play a crucial role in the performance of HSLA steel. Docol 42 0LA HSLA improves strength while maintaining good toughness, giving it superior performance in withstanding impact and tensile stress. Besides, HSLA steel has lower alloying element content, which is beneficial to the implementation of welding processes. Through reasonable control of alloying element content, HSLA steel can have a certain corrosion resistance, suitable for engineering structures in corrosive environments. Lastly, Docol 42 0LA HSLA has good plasticity and malleability, which is conducive to the implementation of various forming processes and reduces manufacturing costs.
