405 stainless steel shows excellent corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties as an austenitic stainless steel material. It is widely used in numerous fields, especially in marine engineering, petrochemical industry, food processing and other fields. 405 stainless steel is a high-alloy stainless steel material consisting of chromium, nickel and copper. It performs well in strong acid environments such as oxidizing acid, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid. Therefore, it can be used in various corrosive environments, such as marine environment, chemical media, etc. Besides, 405 stainless steel features good strength and toughness and can withstand greater pressure and impact. What is more, its processing performance is also good and can be used for cutting, bending, welding and other operations. 405 stainless steel coil has good heat resistance and can work well in high temperature environments. This makes it advantageous in some applications entailing high temperature processing.
