405 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel material preferred for its excellent corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties. It is widely seen in fields including in marine engineering, petrochemical industry, food processing. 405 stainless steel is a high-alloy stainless steel material made of chromium, nickel and copper. It has outstanding corrosion resistance and great performance in strong acid environments such as oxidizing acid, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid. So it can be used in various corrosive environments, such as marine environment, chemical media, etc. Besides, its good strength and toughness characteristics allow it to withstand greater pressure and impact. On the other hand, its brilliant processing performance greatly facilitates cutting, bending, welding and other operations. Lastly, 405 stainless steel pipe has good heat resistance to be used in high temperature environments. This makes it advantageous in some applications involving high temperature processing.
