Product Description
The main alloying element of 5083 aluminum is magnesium. It is used to manufacture aircraft fuel tanks, as well as sheet metal parts for transportation vehicles and ships, instruments, hardware products for its excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, workability, and medium strength. 5083 aluminum is the most widely used anti-rust aluminum. This alloy has high strength, especially fatigue resistance: high plasticity and corrosion resistance. It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. It has good plasticity during semi-cold work hardening and cold work. Because the material is a high-magnesium alloy, it has good strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability among non-heat-treatable alloys. The surface is beautiful after anodizing. Arc welding performance is good. The main alloying element in 5083 alloy is magnesium, which has good corrosion resistance and weldability, as well as medium strength.
