Product Description
A656 steel coil is made of a high-strength low-alloy steel commonly used in structural applications where light weight and good formability are essential. A656 steel coils are manufactured in grades of 50, 60, 70 and 80 to meet the specified yield point. A656 is an American standard high-strength low-alloy structural steel covering four grades of 50, 60, 70 and 80. A656 steel coil is also a high-strength, low-alloy, hot-rolled structural steel commonly used in lighter weight and lighter structural applications where improved formability is critical. Employing high-strength low-alloy steel can greatly reduce the weight of the structure, improve the strength and stiffness of the structure, and improve durability while reducing the thickness of the structure. A656 carbon steel coils are commonly used in construction equipment, crane booms, automobile frames and general manufacturing. They work better in most low temperature environments.
