405 stainless steel is categorized as austenitic stainless steel material that is resistant to corrosion with good mechanical properties. The bars are usually used as manufacturing parts in marine engineering, petrochemical industry, food processing and other fields. 405 stainless steel bar is made of a high-alloy stainless steel material primarily consisting of chromium, nickel and copper. It can perform well in strong acid environments such as oxidizing acid, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid. So the bars can be used in various corrosive environments, such as marine environment, chemical media, etc. Besides, 405 stainless steel comes with good strength and toughness and can withstand substantial pressure and impact.
